Today, more than ever water and irrigation applications depend on reliable control systems and well timed access to information. When absolute control is crucial, you can rely on Motorola's IRRInet control system.
IRRInet-Ace Communication Types: Ethernet, Conventional Radio, Store and Forward, RS-232/485 500 Outputs ( local plus remote), 500 Inputs (local plus remote), 250 Main Lines (local plus remote), 400 Programs (local plus remote), 400 Groups (local plus remote), 50 Virtual Flow Meters (local plus remote), 50 Fertilizer Pumps (local plus remote), and 100 Remote I/O Units (IRRInet-Ms programmed as slave units). Also supports 2-Wire Decoder Systems.

Piccolo-XR
Communication Type: Conventional Radio Basic Dimensions --- H 5.0" X W 4.6" X D 1.63" Piccolo-XR is a small radio controlled remote I/O device designed to extend the reach of IRRInet-ACE and IRRInet-M. Operating from a 6 volt DC power source and a small solar panel, Piccolo-XR can be ordered in one of 5 models: 1output+1 input/ 2 output+2 input/ 4 output+4 inputs/ 1output+7 inputs/ 0 outputs with 8 inputs. If distance or obstructions are a problem, Piccolo-XR's can relay information from unit to unit to reach the IRRInet-ACE or IRRInet-M field controller. Piccolo-XR is perfect for connecting distant landscape points of connection, master valves, flow meters and booster pumps that are otherwise too difficult or expensive to connect to the local controller at the site.

The MDS Decoder System (MDS)
Advanced 2-Wire Technology The MDS, a reliable, high efficiency, 2-wire decoder solution providing a substantial reduction of buried wire used for valve control and true flexibility for future expansion of existing systems. Each decoder connected to the 2-wire cable, functions as both a switching mechanism providing 24 VAC to each valve and in a supervisory role monitoring critical solenoid parameters. True two-way communications between the interface and the decoders, provide diagnostic capabilities for monitoring the general health of the 2-wire cable, decoders, and valve solenoids.

Smart Card V2
Connect and monitor an extended range of sensor types The Mottech Smart Card (MSC-V2) provides a number of options in one card: Two A to D converters, Pulse Splitter, Pulse Divider, and SDI-12 protocol. The MSC-V2 easily integrates into Motorola IRRInet controllers, or can be supplied as an autonomous unit.

Weather Station Communication Type: Wireless or Cabled Integrating the Davis Instruments Vantage Pro2 weather station to any IRRInet-ACE in your system allows real-time weather information to auto-adjust any controllers you wish at the system, area, main line, or crop type levels. CIMIS ET data and discreet sensors can also be used to partner with the Vantage Pro2.

ARAD Hydrometers Connection Type: Wireless or Cabled The ARAD Hydrometer is an industrial grade master valve and flow meter integrated into a single unit. The master valve portion is a double-chambered hydraulically operated valve designed to operate under high pressure and is controlled with either a 24VAC or DC latching solenoid. ARAD Hydrometers can be ordered as normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) units and can be modified in the field with a NO or NC 24VAC or DC latching solenoid kit without having to remove the hydrometer. The flow meter register is driven by the impeller through magnetic coupling leaving just one moving part, the impeller, in contact with the water. The register is hermetically sealed in a stainless steel capsule with tempered glass and includes a totalizer to display the volume of water passed as well as a rotating leakage detector. The flow meter uses a dry contact reed switch which requires no tools to remove, inspect, or replace. The register can be removed or installed without shutting down the hydrauic system. The dry-contact reed switch for the flow meter and the valve activation solenoid can be conncted to any Motorola field controller with standard irrigation valve wiring and requires no specialized shielded or signal wire. The ARAD Hydrometer has no "straight pipe requirement" on the water input or output for flow meter accuracy. The hydrometer can be installed in the downstream leg of a backflow prevention device for easy access and maintenance. Available sizes --- 1.5", 2", 3", 4", 6", and 8".
